Terms of Service

Last updated 2 August 2026 · DataConView

Use DataConView to convert your own documents and extract your own data. Do not upload documents you have no right to process, and expect the quota you paid for rather than a guarantee about any particular extraction.

1. The agreement

These terms apply to dataconview.com and the DataConView application behind sign-in. Creating an account or submitting a document means accepting them. If you use the service on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company.

2. What the service does

DataConView converts documents between formats and extracts structured data from them, in single files or in batches. The output is a machine-readable rendering of what was in the input.

Extraction is automated. It can misread a poor scan, an unusual layout or an ambiguous table. Where the output matters, check it against the source before relying on it.

3. Your documents

Documents you upload remain yours. DataConView takes only the licence needed to process them and return the result to you, and no other rights. Uploaded documents and their outputs are not used to train models and are not shown to other customers.

You are responsible for having the right to process what you upload. Do not submit documents containing other people's personal data unless you have a lawful basis to process it; where you do, you act as controller of that data and DataConView processes it on your instructions.

4. Accounts and acceptable use

One account is for one person or one integration; sharing credentials across people is not permitted. Do not use the service to process unlawful content, do not attempt to disrupt it or probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, and do not exceed the quota of your plan by rotating accounts.

5. Plans, payment and cancellation

Paid plans are billed in advance at the price shown at checkout, and each plan carries a stated processing quota. You can cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period. Price changes are notified before they take effect.

6. Availability and liability

The service is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Keep your own copies of source documents; DataConView is a processing service, not an archive.

To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim, and excludes loss caused by relying on an unchecked extraction.

7. Changes, termination and contact

These terms may change; the date above records when. Continuing to use the service after a change means accepting it. An account may be suspended for breach of the acceptable use section, with notice where circumstances allow. Questions about these terms go via the contact page at /contact.
